Saint Paul Republcian activists have thrown their support to city council member Jerry Blakey in the race to succeed outgoing mayor Norm Coleman. The party endorsed Blakey at a meeting last night but Coleman, Saint Paul's leading Republcan, did not attend and has not said if he will support Blakey. Minnesota Public Radio's William Wilcoxen reports.
