This is a continuation on a special Midmorning broadcast from the Minneapolis Police Department 5th Precinct. Host Cathy Wurzer presents a ride-along audio montage of police on duty, a discussion about community-oriented policing, a documentary excerpt, and interviews regarding concerns over lack of disciplinary actions on police officers.
Program concludes with Wurzer moderating a panel discussion. Participants include Mike Sauro, a lieutenant for the Minneapolis Police Department; Ann Viitala, lawyer and chairwoman of Civilian Police Review Authority; Bill Lewinski, a police use-of-force expert; and Robin Magee, law professor at Hamline University. The group discuss and debate local police officer discipline efforts.
This is part two of two parts.
