Morning Edition’s Cathy Wurzer talks with Ojibwe author Anton Truer about his book "Everything You Wanted to Know About Indians But Were Afraid to Ask."
Treuer grew up on and near the Leech Lake Reservation in northern Minnesota, and attended school in nearby Bemidji. He went on to graduate from Princeton University, and got a PhD from the University of Minnesota. He became a professor of Ojibwe at Bemidji State University, the author of nine books, and the editor of the only academic journal of the Ojibwe language.
