Minneapolis Mayor RT Ryback says he intends to meet with Hmong teenagers speaking on behalf of their parents. The teens want a Hmong police officer assigned to a day shift on Minneapolis ' north side. The city's Hmong population is concentrated in the area. Many of the Hmong adults are new immigrants who speak limited English. Their children speak for them, including 15-year-old Maixiong Yang.
