Authorities said today that a LeSeuer County sheriff's deputy who shot and killed an unarmed man in July feared for his life when he pulled the trigger. Assistant Anoka County attorney Andrew Johnson says deputy Todd Waldron had seen 24-year-old Tyler Heilman driving recklessly a few minutes earlier, and confronted him at a Kasota apartment building. Johnson says the deputy claimed he'd been wrestled to the ground and put in a chokehold.
