Starting today, officers with the Minneapolis Police Department will be required to view a controversial traffic stop video. A squad car camera captured a February traffic stop in which officers kicked and punched a man who they say resisted before he was arrested. Officers will be with a supervisor when they watch the video, which shows an officer struggling to wrestle 42-year-old Derryl Jenkins to the ground. Police department spokesman Jesse Garcia says there are no planned discussions after officers view the video. But they will have a chance to talk about the differences between passive resistance and aggressive resistance.
