A Minneapolis police officer is facing time in prison after he agreed to plead guilty to four charges today in federal court. Officer Mike Roberts admitted to using his police computer for unauthorized activities and filing false tax returns for three years. Roberts earned more than 100,000 dollars working off-duty security jobs, but failed to report the income. Roberts is 59 and has been with the police department for 28 years. The majority of his career has been spent patrolling north Minneapolis . Terrence Roberts says he's a friend of officer Roberts and a resident of the northside. He says officer Roberts had a good reputation throughout the community and he'll be missed.
