Non-English-speaking Homeowners who are having trouble making their mortgage payments can find some assistance at a free forum tomorrow. The workshop, by the Minnesota Home Ownership Center, is an opportunity for struggling homeowners to consult with mortgage and foreclosure specialists. Hmong, Vietnamese, Lao and Spanish translators available. Lenders and loan servicers have also been invited to attend. Ed Nelson from the Minnesota Home Ownership Center says minority communities are being targeted by foreclosure related scams. He says it's important for struggling homeowners to know that they don't have to pay to get help.
