St. Paul's first Hmong funeral home will be demolished to make way for a new development. A traditional Hmong healer, or a shaman, blessed the site of the old funeral home yesterday in the Frogtown neighborhood. Activist Dai Thao says according to traditional Hmong religious beliefs, the ceremony is necessary to flush out any lingering spirits.
