Hmong graves meetingShare
Share
Members of the Hmong community will be meeting tomorrow in St. Paul to find out how they can reclaim the remains of their relatives who'd been buried near a Buddhist temple in Thailand. Officials at the temple had about 500 graves unearthed in 2005, sparking outrage among many Hmong in Minnesota. Chu Wu is with the Hmong Graves Desecration Committee in St Paul. He says he's received a flyer that was posted at the temple that says relatives have until July to reclaim the remains. But he said he's seeking more information.
