The University of Minnesota Libraries have acquired the archive of Penumbra Theatre Company in St. Paul.

More than five-thousand documents recording the Penumbra's 30-year history will become a part of the Givens Collection of African American Literature. Dean of the College of Liberal Arts Steven Rosenstone says the archive gives an intimate view of the process of creating theater.
