About a dozen black ministers in the Twin Cities complained about racial profiling today. They met at a Minneapolis church a week after one of the clergymen accused a Minneapolis Park Police officer of using race to single him out for a police stop. The minister was detained at Lake Calhoun by Park and city police. Park Police Chief Brad Johnson called the situation an isolated incident. But he urged ministers to tell their congregations to be cooperative with police.
