Members of the Hmong community have begun a letter-writing campaign to the United Nations regarding the desecration of Hmong graves in Thailand last fall. About 400 people turned out for a town hall meeting in St. Paul last night to provide documentation about their deceased loved ones. Hundreds of graves were dug up last fall near the area where thousands of Hmong refugees lived for decades. State Senator Mee Moua, who did not attend last night's meeting, but has worked on this issue, says the human rights of the families have been violated.
