Wisconsin's Attorney General is downplaying racial overtones in the conviction of Chai Vang. Vang is the St. Paul Hmong who shot and killed six Wisconsin deer hunters; wounding two others last November. A jury in Hayward Wisconsin found Vang guilty on six counts of first degree intentional homicide, and three of intent to commit homicide. Prosecutor Peg Lautenschlager says there's no reason to think the incident has spawned a lasting racial divide between Hmong and caucasian hunters.
