The Minneapolis Planning Commission will hear a proposal today for a downtown development project adjacent to the Target Center. It would include two thousand housing units as well as retail establishments, all built around a 40 thousand seat outdoor baseball stadium. The housing would be privately-financed. It is unclear where the money would come from for the ballpark. This is the latest in a flurry of stadium news that have been reported in recent weeks.
