The state legislature is down to its last two weeks with Senate DFLers and House Republicans far apart on several fronts. Both sides will eventually have to work out differences on education funding, taxes, and other budget items. Conference committees between the two chambers will begin to meet this week. Joining us on the line is Minnesota Public Radio's capitol bureau chief Laura McCallum.
