Advocates for low-income residents are trying to rally support for an heating assistance provision that was tossed out of the final version of a House energy bill and is making its way through the state Senate. About 300 people attended an Energy Cents Coalition meeting with legislators last night the Arlington High School in Saint Paul. Several in the audience told of the hardships they face with excessively high energy bills.
