D-F-L Senate-elect Mark Dayton says he's thrilled to have won the seat he first sought 18 years ago. Dayton defeated Republican incumbent Rod Grams 49-to-43-percent in yesterday's election. The former state Auditor and department store heir spent more than 11-million dollars of his own money in a bitterly-contested race that Grams didn't officially concede until late Wednesday afternoon.
