Fog and thick clouds delayed efforts to fully put out the wildfire that's burned large sections of the Carlos Avery Wildlife area. Cool temperatures and some rain have helped dampen hot spots, that contine to smoulder. The fire, which started last Thursday and has burned more than 8500 acres. Lloyd Knudson, the Wildlife Area Manager, talks with MPR News.
