The fight for the International Falls state senate seat is heating up. Incumbent Bob Lessard was the district's DFL senator for 24 years. But he left the party in July and is running for re-election as an independent. Lessard faces a challenge from another DFLer, former state Senator Ron Dicklich. Minnesota Public Radio's Tom Robertson reports.
