Mesaba Airlines says it won't resume airservice to smalltown airports during the Northwest pilots strike, despite an order to do so by Transportation Secretary Rodney Slater, Mesaba says it depends heavily on Northwest for ticketing and ground crews amongst other things. Warren Wilkinson of Mesaba says resuming operations is not feasible logistically or economically.
