Minnesota Governor Arne Carlson today joined a several governors from across the upper midwest in calling on President Clinton to force striking Northwest pilots back to work. Carlson says as the strike, now in its sixth day, drags on the economy is taking a hit. Carlson says doesn't look as though the two sides will be able to resolve the matter without intervention.
