MPR’s Chris Roberts reports on growing political involvement in Hmong community. 20+ years after the first Hmong refugees arrived in Minnesota, Hmong voter ranks have grown steadily, and more are involved in politics than ever before.

The Hmong have also discovered their traditional clan structure can be an advantage in the American political system. The Hmong are on the verge of fully realizing their power as a voting bloc, and no political party is taking their vote for granted.
