State and county social service officials in St Cloud plan to beef up security measures, in the wake of the arrest of a former Stearns County employee accused of embezzling more than 400-thousand dollars from a state fund. The alleged crime has shocked both county taxpayers and public officials, who want to ensure the security of money designed to help the poor.
