Every winter for the last eight years, the Minnesota Center for Book Arts in Minneapolis has published a literary commemoration of the season. "The Winter Book," as it's called, is a highly artistic handmade tribute to the pulse and ritual of winter. In this year's book however, winter becomes a metaphor for the writer's exploration of the death of his parents.
