MPR’s Beth Friend profiles A Long Fatal Love Chase, a never-published, rather steamy Louisa May Alcott manuscript that has emerged as a literary find. Friend interviews individuals in the literary field and the book collector who stumbled across it.

A Long Fatal Love Chase had been rejected by her publishers 129 years prior for being "too sensational" and controversial for the era.
