A Midday special broadcast from the newest Minnesota Public Radio news and information station, KCCD 90.3 FM in Moorhead, Minnesota. During program, MPR’s Dan Olson completes interviews and a local tour.
Olson starts hour with various guests as they talk during a lunch hour at Peggy's Pantry, a cafe in the heart of Moorhead.
Program then presents a recorded interview with H. Elaine Lindgren discussing her book, Land in Her Own Name: Women As Homesteaders in North Dakota.
Closing out hour is Olson taking Midday audience for a tour of the beautifully restored Fargo Theatre. The theater's original beauty has been carefully recreated, including the saving of the old Wurlitzer organ, which rises from the stage.
