MPR’s Mark Heistad talks with Gaylord Schanilec about handmade prints book project he completed, entitled Farmers. Schanilec details the approach in creating book.

The book is a presentation of woodblock prints in a book limited book of 200 copies. The text is derived from recorded interviews with farmers in the wake of the farm crisis in the mid-1980s, conducted by Schanilec near his home in Stockholm, Wisconsin.
