As part of The Vietnam Experience and America Today Symposium, a panel discussion about Vietnam, the presidency, public trust, and student activists.
Speakers include Herbert Y. Schandler, author and national defense specialist; George Reedy, Marquette University journalist and professor and former presidential press secretary to Lyndon Johnson; and moderator Hy Berman, of the University of Minnesota History Department, discuss relations between the presidency and the Congress as a result of the war.
Program also include former Minnesota Congressman Donald M. Fraser and Notre Dame professor David C. Leege discuss the Vietnam War's effect on public confidence.
