Symposium titled "The Grassroots Are Always Greener Elsewhere... The Arts in Rural America."
Symposium guests were Charles Christopher Mark, publisher and reporter of National Public Radio's Arts Reporting Service; and Phyllis Stibler, executive director of the Southwest Minnesota Arts and Humanities Council. Moderator was Marvin Thomsen, director of the Pipestone Area Vocational Institute.
