MPR’s Kevin McKiernan interviews unknown responder to AIM attorney Mark Lane’s accusation of FBI agents harassing his office.
SPEAKER: My position at the moment is going to be, we will let Mr. Lane say what he wants, and we'll let the matter be adjudicated in the courts. And there's a motion pending right now that was filed up in Deadwood, which they had about a 10-hour session there Saturday, and it's under advisement by Judge Bogue. And this is on this very issue of Lane's contention that agents are harassing his committee.
I would like to be able to respond to all of these things. I don't know whether you saw the Minneapolis Tribune yesterday. They had a rather devastating article about the FBI, and innuendoes about more of this business of harassment and tapping telephones and all that other garbage that Lane's putting out.
But I cannot, at this point, today on Tuesday, September 4, go into this with you and debate him, because these matters are currently pending in federal court. Now, possibly later in the week, it'll be different, but that's my position today.
